Kayak and canoe rentals are available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday while the Cracker Shack is open. Full-Day Rentals can be made in advance for week days.

Historic Cow Camp


Florida's Cowboy Heritage comes to life with living history demonstrations of the early Florida "cow hunters" in an 1876-era cow camp.

Guided Eco-Kayak Trip


A 10 mile journey down the Buster Island Paddle Trail is one of the richest, most immersive, and unique kayak trails available in all of Florida. Rare and endangered plants and animals are abundant, along the diverse and constantly changing shoreline of the canals and lakes surrounding Buster Island.

Exclusive Fishing

Within Lake Kissimmee State Park, and adjoining Rollin Meadows and Catfish Creek Preserve, there are many private fishing spots, including lakes on several ancient sand dunes on the Lake Wales Ridge. Access to fish these areas is by reservation only, and very limited admittance is available.
